Benefit has a liquid highlighter in two shades – a warm golden bronze shade (Moon Beam) and a cooler, light pink shade (High Beam). Depending on the shade of your skin, you may find one works better for you than the other. Both shades come in containers that remind me of nail polish; the applicator is a brush and the product is quite liquidy.

With this being said, I have warm yellow/olive undertones to my skin so moonbeam is not my natural fit. I really have to work on blending this into my skin well, otherwise in in daylight, this highlighter can look very stark against my skin.

Overall – 7/10. Although Moon beam was the wrong highlighter choice for my warm skin, judging the product alone I will say that it requires more blending to appear as a ‘glow from within’ than some of my other highlighters.

I have such a love hate relationship with this product. I want to love it because its such a cult favorite and its such a great formula, but like you said it takes a LOT of blending to make this natural looking, and I just can;t be bothered with that when there are so many other products that are such a breeze to use. Loved the review by the way! I always love how you review a product, its always very complete and informative.
